Aspirations to Achievements: A year of Growth and Empowerment

The year 2024 was more than just a chapter in Jayati Arora's life; it marked the beginning of an astonishing journey. It was a story of ambition, transformation, and resilience that laid the groundwork for ambitions that will definitely be remembered for a long time. This was the year Jayati began to soar to heights she had dreamed of but never believed she could achieve

Jayati's path appeared set, having been born into a household where financial literacy was more than a notion, but a way of life. Her parents were both Chartered Accountants, with her mother specializing in valuation and her father gaining the rank of Company Secretary, thus she grew up hearing about money management, investments and the importance of financial literacy in an individual’s life. Choosing to combine commerce and mathematics, along with opting for NCC as her 6th subject, was her way of stepping into a journey that truly resonated with her. It wasn’t just about ticking boxes; it was about choosing a path where she could embrace her passions.

Jayati served as her school's vice cultural captain in 2024. This was more than just a badge; it demonstrated her leadership and dedication to making an impact. She demonstrated her ability to inspire and change communities by organizing school events, educating younger pupils, conducting assemblies, and managing cultural activities throughout the year.

Her experience in NCC, which began in her 9th grade, continued to flourish. After receiving her ‘A’ Certificate in 2023, she saw 2024 as a year of preparation for her B' Certificate. Every drill and camp instilled in her discipline and resilience, which helped shape her bold character and prepared her for the obstacles to come.

Her Rising Passion in MUNs

The Diplomatic Voice - Jayati realized her affinity for diplomacy and public speaking after taking the stage at the Model United Nations (MUN) conference. From her first involvement in this arena to receiving three High Commendation awards and Verbal Mentions such as at prestigious institutions like Ramjas College of Delhi University, she discovered the value of collaboration and the beauty of dispute, resolution, and negotiation.

Beyond the Stage

Jayati, being a nonprofit Visionary, wanted to contribute somehow to this arena. Her entry into the nonprofit sector was equally impressive.  Her job as Chief Human Resources Officer at Dotstreams Lab, a soon-to-be-registered company, demonstrates her talent for organizational leadership. Her employment at Unsway as Outreach Coordinator in the Finance Club and Humanitech as Communications and HR Executive (where she received the Employee of the Month award in December) demonstrates her broad ability to make a change in society, inspiring many!

MUN Secretariat

Rising Through the Ranks. Jayati's leadership in the MUN Secretariat became a distinguishing feature of her journey, as she rose from Secretary-General of the Global Alliance MUN (in collaboration with the Sanvad Summit) to the Co-Founder of Sapphire Accord MUN and many others. Each decision was a stepping stone that demonstrated her development and constant commitment. Writing a Legacy - As 2024 came to a close, Jayati began a new journey: writing her first book. This book, set to be completed on her birthday, March 26, 2025, aims to highlight her goals, teachings, and unwavering quest for perfection.

Empowering Financial Literacy

Jayati co-founded the Financial Champion Club after being inspired by her childhood. This platform strives to help individuals build a strong financial foundation and drive India’s economic growth. The club's inaugural seminar, slated for January 19, 2025, marks an important milestone in her effort to inspire and educate. A Year That Shaped a Lifetime For Jayati, 2024 was more than simply a year; it was the start of a new journey, just like a phoenix rising from its own ashes. It taught her to dream big, to take calculated chances, and to believe that hard effort bridges the gap between objectives and success.

2024 marks the landmark as a year of growth as well as thankfulness for Jayati. She says,“ I am grateful for all the opportunities, difficulties, and individuals who helped transform my life and me. As I enter 2025, I carry the lessons and memories that will help me make my ambitions a reality. My goal is not just to achieve personal success, but also to make my parents proud and to inspire others to pursue their aspirations."
